Job summary

Talkdesk is seeking a founding AI Deployment Strategist to act as a trusted consultant and AI thought leader for our strategic customers. You will own end-to-end AI engagements, from discovery to deployment and value realization, driving measurable business outcomes.

You will design and build AI agents, lead executive workshops, and help shape our AI platform. This role requires hands-on deployment, cross‑functional collaboration, and a strong emphasis on turning ambitious AI visions into

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing, technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Customer Success, or Product Management.
• Consultative AI expertise: educate customers on market trends, best practices, and the transformative potential of agentic AI.
• Proven track record delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical aptitude deploying AI, automation, or enterprise SaaS; experience with AI agents and LLMs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Seller mindset with commercial instincts; comfortable with deal conversations.
• High-agency and first principles problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Lifecycle: Lead end-to-end customer engagements from discovery to deployment, value realization, and executive readout.
• Be a Strategic Consultant & Thought Leader: Serve as primary technical advisor, lead workshops, guide AI strategy, and build trust-based executive relationships.
• Design & Build AI Agents: Design, build, and iterate AI agents; collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineering on complex integrations; hands-on deployment is expected.
• Develop the Playbook: Create and refine playbooks, best practices, and scalable processes for the AI program.
• Drive Business Impact: Identify high-impact use cases; ensure outcomes are measurable and tied to business value.
• Shape the Product: Provide customer voice to Product and Engineering for future AI platform enhancements.
