Job summary

Salient is seeking a high-agency operator to join the Founder’s Office in San Francisco. You will act as a force-multiplier to the CEO and leadership team, turning ambiguous, cross-functional problems into crisp plans with owners and shipped outcomes.

You’ll own the CEO’s operating cadence, turn leadership conversations into actions, and prepare briefs and meeting materials. Expect deep cross-functional work across Product, Eng, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Success in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• High-agency operator with ability to diagnose problems and drive end-to-end solutions.
• Structured thinker who writes clearly, crafts crisp plans, and converts ambiguity into concrete next steps.
• Demonstrates high standards, low ego, and ownership over outcomes.
• Fast learner capable of ramping in complex, regulated domains.
• Trustworthy with sensitive information and comfortable with intensity of early-stage pace.

Responsibilities

• Own the CEO's operating cadence: weekly priorities, OKR tracking, meeting hygiene, decisions logs.
• Turn leadership conversations into action: write memos, capture decisions, assign owners, drive closure.
• Prepare internal/external meeting briefs, stakeholder maps, agendas, talking points, and post-meeting execution.
• Run cross-functional projects across Product, Eng, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Build lightweight systems (dashboards, templates, playbooks) to scale operations.
