Job summary

Weitzman Group seeks a Staff Accountant to support the Founder’s personal and family-office accounting. The role combines full-charge bookkeeping with administrative and recordkeeping duties, working closely with the Founder’s Accountant and CFO to ensure accurate, audit-ready books across multiple entities.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in bookkeeping or staff accounting, strong discretion, and experience with multi-entity financials. On-site involvement in Dallas area is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or staff accountant experience (multi-entity experience strongly preferred).
• Proficiency with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Full-charge accounting across multiple personal and business entities (AP/AR, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close).
• Processing and tracking transfers and disbursements across entities, including coordination with banks and custodians.
• Preparing basic financial reports/statements for review by the Founder’s Accountant and family office CFO.
• Maintaining clean, audit-ready books and supporting documentation.
• Administrative / Personal Support and recordkeeping for personal and business/entity matters.
• Coordinating with banks, vendors, and outside advisors on financial and administrative matters.
• Supporting the Founder's Executive Assistant on accounting-related tasks.
