Job summary

Weitzman seeks an experienced accounting professional to join the family office, supporting the Founder’s personal and business affairs. You will perform full-charge bookkeeping across multiple entities, handle month-end close, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting, while also managing related administrative duties and document control.

Qualifications

• 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping or staff accountant experience with multi-entity exposure.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with minimal supervision and strong recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Full-charge accounting across multiple entities.
• AP/AR, bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Journal entries and month-end close.
• Processing transfers and disbursements with banks/custodians.
• Prepare basic financial reports for review by Founder's Accountant and CFO.
• Maintain audit-ready books and supporting documentation.
• Assist with information gathering for tax preparers and outside CPAs.
• Administrative support related to personal and business matters.
• Document management and recordkeeping for personal and entity matters.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and outside advisors.
