Qualifications

The ideal candidate will manage projects from planning and estimating through construction and closeout while ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements are met.

• Review geotechnical reports, design documents, and contract specifications.


• Develop design documents for excavation support systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a concentration in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering.


• At least 4 years of experience in specialty foundations, sheeting and shoring, or deep foundations.


• Experience managing self-perform construction projects.


• Experience preparing estimates using HCSS Heavy Bid.


• Experience with specialty foundation design software.


• Professional Engineer (PE) license in DC, Maryland, or Virginia, or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of employment.


• Strong knowledge of geotechnical reports, construction documents, and foundation systems.


• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.


• Ability to work in outdoor construction environments and challenging site conditions.


• Experience managing foundation projects from start to finish is highly .
