Position Overview

Kiewit Foundations District is seeking motivated and skilled Project Engineers to join our team in the Gulf Coast region, primarily in Louisiana and Mississippi. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and technical aspects of construction projects, leading a team of field and cost engineers. You will serve as the main communication link between the construction manager and the team regarding cost, revenue, and cash flow. Kiewit Foundations Co. is a full-service geotechnical foundation contractor operating across North America. Our expertise includes a wide range of specialty foundation construction and ground improvement solutions. Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing foundation construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and team members to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Perform project scheduling.
• Manage revenue, costs, and cash flow.
• Oversee temporary engineering and permanent design management.
• Ensure quality control.
• Handle project closeout and client relations.
• Assist in operations planning.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in construction or engineering.
• Preferably, experience with augered cast-in-place (ACIP) piles, though not required.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
• Experience managing engineers.
• Ability to analyze engineering plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to doing the job right the first time.
