Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Foundations Manager for an on-site role in Lake Charles, LA. You will lead, plan, and manage all foundation-related construction activities, review project specifications and geotechnical data, and coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, compliant field execution.

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field with 7+ years in heavy civil foundations (or a HS diploma with 11+ years) is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in heavy civil construction with strong foundation focus.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma and 11+ years of progressive foundation construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage all foundation-related construction activities on site.
• Review specifications, geotechnical reports, and drawings for proper execution.
• Monitor production, schedule, and cost performance for foundation scopes; implement corrective actions.
• Identify risks related to subsurface conditions, equipment, materials, and methods; develop mitigations.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure field execution.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance for all foundation work.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and permits related to foundation construction.
• Track quantities, production rates, and cost data for financial reporting.
• Conduct site visits and provide progress reports to Construction Manager.
• Supervise team members, training, and performance reviews; promote continuous improvement.
