Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment, a leading live entertainment company, seeks a security/guest services professional for the Foundation Room and House of Blues venues in Anaheim. The role focuses on recognizing VIPs, ensuring guest safety, and delivering a positive experience for diverse guests.

Responsibilities include assisting with reservations, coordinating with venue staff, monitoring ambiance, enforcing policies, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment during events.

Qualifications

• CA Food Handlers Card and guard/PSO certification required.
• Current Guard Card or PSO Card and BSIS recertification.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours.
• Minimum 3 years experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs with proper lifting techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in high-end restaurant operations, seating, guest relations and problem solving.
• Diplomacy, multitasking, verbal skills, organizational skills.
• Ability to diffuse volatile situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms.

Responsibilities

• Recognize Foundation Members, Executives and VIPs to show appreciation.
• Serve as information resource for Members about their experience in Foundation Room and House of Blues.
• Assist Members with reservation timing.
• Coordinate with Manager, Chef, Bartender and Server on Member arrivals.
• Monitor Lounge area and Podium to maintain ambiance.
• Communicate clearly with staff to enhance member experience.
• Evacuate guests in emergencies and assist as needed.
• Check IDs for alcohol service and inspect for prohibited items with metal detector.
• Enforce venue policies on photos/videos/recording devices.
• Ensure safety by removing hazards and maintaining cleanliness.
• Set up area before opening and attend pre-shift meetings.
