Job summary

Upbring seeks a Foundation Relations Specialist to build and manage relationships with family, professional, and corporate foundations to secure funding for agency programs. You will identify funders, develop strategies, submit proposals, and steward foundations throughout the year.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Administration, Political Science, Journalism, or closely related field.
Three (3) years of experience in fundraising in nonprofit or church settings.
Three (3) years of experience in roles that require strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Identify potential funders, develop fundraising strategies, submit proposals, and manage foundation stewardship.
Cultivate and solicit foundation relationships through regular communication and visits (virtual or in-person).
Coordinate and attend site visits and events with foundation donors.
Write proposals for restricted and unrestricted funds to support programs and expansion.
