Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago Foundation seeks a Manager-CCCF Programs and Financial Planning to lead portfolio-level financial planning for major fundraising initiatives. You will collaborate with Principal Investigators, the Foundation Development team, and grant managers to design and oversee multi-year program budgets and ensure timely donor reporting.

The role emphasizes data-driven budgeting, spend forecasts, and strategic recommendations to sustain funded programs and advance CCC’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of progressively responsible work experience in finance, data, research, program management, proposal development, or grant management.
• Experience managing program or grant budgets, ensuring fiscal compliance and/or general accounting structures for grants.
• Experience working with grants, including reporting, compliance, and funder communications.
• Demonstrated success implementing projects in a complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates portfolio-level financial planning for foundation budgets.
• Partners with PIs and Foundations team to design and manage multi-year, multi-million-dollar program budgets.
• Forecasts spend rates, monitors spend-down timelines, and identifies risks in fund utilization.
• Provides regular analysis and strategic recommendations to Foundation leadership on funding gaps and budget adjustments.
• Develops financial tracking tools and dashboards using Salesforce and other systems.
• Supports grant lifecycle reporting and compliance with funder requirements.
• Maintains current understanding of fund balances and grant activity for reconciliation and reporting.
