Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom seeks a Foundation Partnerships Grant Manager to own the complete grant cycle, from proposal development to reporting, across the organization. You will supervise the Grant Writer and collaborate with DTPs and TRMs to ensure timely, accurate communications with foundation partners.

You will manage reporting calendars, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain CRM data. Strong writing, organization, and leadership are essential in this role based in a multi-location

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of grant management experience.
• Experience working with foundations on grant proposals, including knowledge of grant cycles and reporting best practices.
• Ability to review and edit written grant proposals and reports for clarity, tone, and compliance with guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
• Project coordination, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and develop a small team and manage performance.
• Initiative to improve grant and team processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all foundation and grant cycles across the organization.
• Coordinate and oversee internal grant cycle processes, including preparation, submission, and reporting for proposals, LOIs, and reports.
• Review letters and agreements to identify restrictions, update contact information, and track deadlines.
• Directly supervise the Grant Writer, assign workload and set deadlines; conduct reviews and development planning.
• Review, edit, and approve grant proposals, LOIs, and reports for quality and adherence to guidelines.
• Own the full grant reporting lifecycle from tracking requirements to final submissions.
• Maintain a master grant reporting calendar and ensure reports are timely and complete.
• Provide relationship owners with regular visibility into reporting status and deadlines.
• Directly manage a small portfolio of foundation relationships for cultivation and stewardship.
