Job summary

Alliance Defending Freedom in Lansdowne, VA is seeking a Foundation Partnerships Grant Manager to own the foundation grant cycle across the organization, supervising the grant writer and coordinating reporting, LOIs, and proposals.

You will work with Directors of Transformational Partnerships and manage a small portfolio of foundation relationships, ensuring timely, accurate communication and adherence to each foundation's guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of grant management experience.
• Experience with foundations on grant proposals and reporting.
• Ability to review and edit grant proposals for clarity and compliance with foundation guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise a small team and deliver feedback.
• Initiative to improve grant processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all foundation and grant cycles across the organization.
• Coordinate and oversee internal grant cycle processes for proposals, LOIs, and reports.
• Review grant letters and agreements to identify restrictions, update contact information, and track deadlines.
• Directly supervise the Grant Writer and oversee writing deadlines and performance.
• Own the full grant reporting lifecycle from tracking requirements to final submission.
• Maintain a master grant reporting calendar and ensure timely reports.
• Provide regular visibility into reporting status to partners and stakeholders.
