Job summary

Groundworks in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead the installation crew on foundation projects from start to finish. You will own safety, quality, productivity, and team performance while aligning with project timelines and budgets.

As a hands-on leader, you will review site conditions, assign duties to crew members, install products, troubleshoot on-site challenges, and document outcomes for stakeholders. A valid driver’s license and basic construction knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews or small teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license
• Basic construction or mechanical knowledge
• Ability to enter crawl spaces and confined areas

Responsibilities

• Leads a high-performance team serving customers in a local market/area
• Reviews job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed prior to reporting to the job site
• Assesses conditions of the job on-site and assigns duties to crew
• Installs products and services with support of a national team
• Troubleshoots on-site issues to meet company standards and timelines
• Provides customers with quality service while onsite
• Supervises crew and provides on-the-job training to Installers and Co-Foreman
• Drives company vehicle to and from job site
• Maintains on-time attendance and punctuality
