Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Foundation Database Administrator to support fundraising by leading gift (fund) management processes and ensuring database integrity in Raiser's Edge NXT. You will oversee donor data quality, run analyses, and produce reporting to advance philanthropy initiatives across the system.

The role involves managing gift processing, supporting donor research, and collaborating with fundraising teams to optimize campaigns and stewardship across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of database management experience in nonprofit/healthcare/education.
• Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge NXT (or similar donor database).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ethical and discreet handling of donor information.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIFT (fund) management processes and ensure donor data integrity.
• Oversee Gift Processing and maintain member database integrity across Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Support donor research, analytics, and portfolio assignments for major giving.
• Produce comprehensive reporting on gifts, funds, and engagement for internal/external stakeholders.
• Oversee daily data entry, receipting, and deposit of gifts across the system.
