Job summary

United Way of Long Island is seeking a Donor Database Manager to maintain the integrity and functionality of our donor database systems. The role emphasizes experience with Raiser's Edge NXT and strong financial processing skills to ensure accurate gift handling and reporting.

The position supports fundraising efforts, collaborates with the finance team on AR tracking, and provides data-driven insights to optimize donor stewardship.

Qualifications

• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and Database View.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles in nonprofit fundraising.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 platforms (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the donor database integrity, security, and accuracy.
• Process and reconcile donor contributions, pledges, and payments daily.
• Generate reports and queries to support fundraising campaigns and financial reconciliation.
• Develop data entry standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with Finance to track accounts receivable and donor revenue reconciliation.
• Provide training and support on database usage for staff.
