Job summary

AlTi Global, Inc. is seeking a Client Accountant in Seattle to support nonprofit and private foundation clients.

You will handle month-end closings, fund reconciliations, and financial reporting while coordinating with the Client Accounting Analyst on bill payments and disbursements. The ideal candidate has at least five years of nonprofit accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar
• Minimum of five years relevant accounting experience, including nonprofit and/or private foundation accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP and FASB standards for nonprofit organizations and private foundations
• Knowledge of Form 990/990-PF
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain personal accounts and financial records for nonprofit organizations and private foundations
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, grant documentation, financial reports and other records
• Coordinate bill payment and approvals in line with internal controls
• Monitor client cash balance and liquidity for operating expenses and grants
• Record nonprofit, trust and foundation transactions and reconcile ledgers
• Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and fund-level reconciliations
• Support payroll and tax report preparation
• Respond to information requests from auditors, donors and regulators
• Maintain accurate accounting files in compliance with retention policies
