Job summary

All Seniors Foundation, a LA-based nonprofit, seeks a Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to keep financial records, track grants and donors, reconcile payroll, and prep for audits. You'll work with the CFO/Treasurer and auditors to ensure transparency and compliance.

Responsibilities include ledger maintenance, AP/AR, bank reconciliations using QuickBooks Online or Sage Intacct, grant tracking, payroll processing, and preparing monthly reports for leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years bookkeeping or staff-accountant experience; nonprofit fund accounting a plus.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Sage Intacct; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Familiarity with GAAP and nonprofit accounting (FASB ASU 2016-14).

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Track restricted vs. unrestricted funds; allocate expenses across grants and programs.
• Process payroll, contractor 1099s, and benefit deductions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Support annual Form 990 preparation and independent audit.
• Reconcile donor management system with accounting records.
