Job summary

Lifeline Animal Project Inc. is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to be the first point of contact for found animals, ensuring a smooth intake process and compassionate customer service. You will support reunification efforts and educate the public about lifesaving programs.

The role requires detail orientation, calmness under pressure, and teamwork with staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional care and service to animals and the community.

Qualifications

• Compassion for animals and people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse backgrounds.
• Detail-oriented and organized with accurate records of all client interactions.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Basic computer literacy including Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Uphold LifeLine’s standards and values.
• Handle intake of found pets: photos, records, microchips, and shelter software entries.
• Ask thoughtful questions to gather information for quick reunification or proper placement.
• Locate owner contact information via microchips or identification during intake.
• Educate the public about programs like Friendly Finder and Take 48.
• Post Found Pet listings on social media and search lost/found listings.
• Assist visitors with shelter services information.
• Process licensing and other administrative tasks related to intake and operations.
• Notify kennel or veterinary staff if an animal shows injury or distress.
• Lead with compassionate animal handling and adhere to safety protocols.
• Ensure donated items are properly distributed within the shelter.
