Job summary

SAFY of America, Inc. seeks a Foster Parent Business Development & Community Engagement Specialist in Mishawaka.

This full-time role combines in-person community outreach with lead generation, relationship-building, and stakeholder collaboration to recruit and guide foster families. You will build partnerships, manage a recruitment pipeline, and support families through licensing and onboarding while meeting measurable goals and contributing to SAFY's mission of preserving families and securing

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in sales, recruitment, admissions, business development, fundraising, marketing, community outreach, customer success, or similar relationship-focused roles.
• Demonstrated success meeting goals, performance targets, quotas, or measurable outcomes.
• Excellent relationship-building, networking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a foster parent recruitment pipeline through community outreach, referrals, events, and relationship-building activities.
• Develop partnerships with businesses, schools, faith-based orgs, healthcare providers, and community leaders.
• Guide prospective foster families through licensing and onboarding processes.
• Track recruitment activity, lead status, and outcomes using CRM systems and prepare performance updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive onboarding experience and ongoing retention.
