Job summary

Clarvida is hiring a Foster Home Supervisor to lead and support foster and kinship homes in Aurora/Denver, CO. This full-time, hybrid role blends office and community work, ensuring certification compliance, training, and placement stability for youth in care.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a valid driver’s license, with SAFE Certification possible upon hire. Benefits include a comprehensive package and on-call crisis support as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks.
• Knowledge of state rules and certifications is preferred.
• SAFE Certification may be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage, support, and grow foster and kinship homes to enhance placement stability.
• Assess foster home needs and growth potential to determine best placement matches for children.
• Ensure foster homes meet and maintain certification requirements and training standards.
• Conduct community-based visits with foster homes and youth in placement.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with program requirements and documentation standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and state guidelines.
• Provide on-call crisis support to foster homes on a rotational basis to prevent placement disruptions.
• Support foster parents in understanding policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure high-quality placement coordination and support services.
• Monitor home compliance with applicable state regulations and agency standards.
• Onboard, train and support inquiring homes through the certification process.
• Assist foster homes in completing required training and development activities.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and collaborative planning sessions.
• Track caseload progress and support quarterly incentive goals tied to performance metrics.
