Job summary

Necco seeks a Foster Care Team Leader/Supervisor to oversee case managers, maintain a client caseload, and ensure high-quality services. The role includes directing service delivery across in-home and community settings, mentoring staff, and collaborating on treatment planning under the Program Director's supervision.

The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s in human services, a master’s degree or waiver pathway, and 3+ years in related work, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Bachelor degree in human services discipline (WV, OH, KY, GA).
• Master’s degree with one year paid experience or DCS waiver (Indiana).
• Three years experience with children or families with behavioral disabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee case coordination of program services under supervision of Program Director.
• Oversee development of the ISP.
• Collaborate with case manager on treatment planning including visitation, health, education, safety and permanency.
• Participate in monthly case consultations to review each service recipient.
• Transfer caseload to new staff and mentor them through transition.
• Oversee placement and home assignment process for new staff.
• Maintain a reduced caseload and comply with Case Manager duties.
• Deliver services across in-home and community settings; transport clients as needed.
• Supervise intakes and necessary assessments.
• Complete performance scorecards and set expectations; assign mentors.
• Assist with client support services and quality reviews.
• Coordinate with Treatment Director to ensure therapy services when needed.
• Practice ruthless pragmatism and engage in peer feedback.
