Job summary
National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Newark, Ohio seeks a full-time Social Worker (LSW) to join the Foster Care Team. The role provides direct mental health services and crisis intervention to youth and families, with daily community-based travel and collaboration with foster parents and partners.
Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work, an LSW license, and prior youth/foster care experience.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
- Valid professional license, LSW; required.
- Experience working with youth and foster care.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family mental health services and crisis intervention.
- Travel daily to deliver community-based services to youth and families.
- Coordinate and monitor services for youth and maintain plans.
- Build strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
- Support youth stabilization and safety planning, including crisis response.
- Be available for on-call rotation.
