National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Columbus, OH, is hiring a full-time Licensed Social Worker for our Foster Care Team. This entry-level opportunity offers meaningful community-based work and a pathway to impact youth and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• A valid professional license (LSW) as required by state law.
• Willingness to work flexible/non-traditional hours as needed.
• Ability to be flexible and responsive to youth served and partners.
• Respect for diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management, transportation, and professional services meeting outcomes for persons served.
• Delivers individual, group, and family mental health services.
• Travels daily to provide community-based and in-home services.
• Coordinates and monitors clinical services for youth and family.
• Reviews and updates youth-based plans to ensure progress.
• Builds strong relationships with foster parents and families.
• Supports reunification or stabilization efforts as per plan.
• Provides safety, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services.
