Job summary

SC Department of Children's Advocacy is seeking a Program Coordinator I to identify and resolve barriers to permanency for children in foster care. You will coordinate foster care reviews, input data into agency systems, and prepare written recommendations for the Family Court, DSS, and Guardian ad Litem.

The role requires strong problem solving, communication, and time management skills, plus the ability to travel within SC to conduct reviews and support stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel within SC and operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and resolves barriers to permanency for children in foster care.
• Coordinates and facilitates foster care reviews and makes recommendations for permanency.
• Inputs review information into agency database and prepares written recommendations for courts and guardians ad litem.
• Maintains professional relationships with Review Board members and child welfare stakeholders.
• Performs daily data entry and electronic record keeping using computer technology.
