Job summary

South Carolina Department of Social Services seeks an EFC Program Coordinator to lead the Extension of Foster Care program across regions. You will supervise regional team leads, promote fidelity to policy, and drive professional development within the unit.

You will engage with child welfare staff, families, and partners to solve issues, track data, and ensure compliant practices. A degree in social work and relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Social Work and four years of related experience.
• Master's in Social Work and two years of related experience.
• Child Welfare experience is highly desired.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform field work.
• Willingness to provide transcripts if selected for job offer.

Responsibilities

• Implement statewide Extension of Foster Care policy and practice.
• Provide direct supervision to regional team leads and staff.
• Provide coaching and oversight to staff; ensure policy fidelity and training.
• Engage with stakeholders to respond to inquiries and coordinate services.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and court orders.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
