Job summary

Thompson Child & Family Focus – A Child's Place Program seeks a Foster Care Coordinator to support foster placements, provide case management, and collaborate with families and community partners in Greenville, SC. The role involves home visits, documentation, and outreach activities to grow the foster network.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must pass drug screening test and extensive background check.
• Must have a valid Driver License.
• Ability to work primarily with clients in Greenville, SC.
• Meets designation as a Qualified Professional in SC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits and provide case management support to foster families.
• Coordinate services, manage documentation and compliance tasks, and collaborate with staff and community partners.
• Assist with outreach content and materials to recruit and support new foster homes.
• Participate in on-call weekend rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for emergencies in the Greenville area.
