Job summary

Baptist Children's Homes of NC, Inc. is seeking a Foster Care Licenser/Trainer to support licensing, training, recruitment, and screening of foster families. The role emphasizes CARE training to serve as an instructor and requires collaboration with families per development plans and community resources.

The position is part of the Foster Care Programs and Services department and reports to the Director of Foster Care in Raleigh/Durham. Exempt status applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 23 years of age.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited university or seminary.
• Two years of experience with population served.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate an agency vehicle to transport children.
• Must meet agency program management and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and participates in regular supervisory conferences.
• Participates in 90-day and annual staff performance evaluations.
• Keeps supervisor informed on current status of total work responsibilities.
