Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Jacksonville seeks a dedicated professional to recruit, license, and retain quality foster homes, ensuring they meet community and organizational standards.

Under the supervision of the Regional Manager, you will train foster parents, develop recruitment strategies, and coordinate home studies while supporting families and youth.

This role requires flexible hours, travel, and a commitment to reunification and permanency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in service of foster caregivers and youth.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, license, and retain quality foster homes meeting organizational needs.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to generate inquiries for licensed homes.
• Support foster parents and youths toward reunification and permanency.
• Complete home studies and maintain foster home records in systems.
• Travel daily to provide community-based services and participate in CQI activities.
