Burlington United Methodist Family Services, Inc. d/b/a Star of Hope Family Services is seeking a compassionate Foster Care Home Evaluator & Treatment Coordinator to join our foster care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Education, or another related human services field from an accredited college or university.
• Social Work licensure is preferred and may be required by West Virginia regulations.
• Minimum of three years of postgraduate experience in social work, child welfare, foster care, or related human services.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective foster and adoptive families through outreach, events and presentations.
• Complete foster/adoptive home studies, family assessments, and annual evaluations.
• Coordinate medical, behavioral health, educational, and community services for children in care.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor licensing compliance and changes in family circumstances; develop corrective action when needed.
• Maintain regular contact with children and foster families, including home visits.
• Manage assigned caseloads and ensure timely documentation and reporting.
