Job summary

Residing Hope is seeking a Family Foster Care Coordinator to recruit prospective professional foster parents, license applicants, relicense current foster parents and monitor homes for safety and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field and Florida Child Welfare certification, plus proficiency in MS Office, interview/assessment skills, and strong organizational abilities with cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred with 2+ years in social work.
• Florida Child Welfare certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in child welfare and strong interviewing/assessments.
• Must have strong organizational skills and cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Visit foster homes monthly to assess safety and complete Home Visit Reports.
• Document contacts with foster parents in FSFN and complete licensing processes.
• Facilitate trainings with professional foster parents in home/office or meetings.
• Plan monthly family outings and coordinate weekly commissary distribution.
• Conduct foster parent evaluations and relicensures; assist in placement decisions.
• Prepare monthly reports on children in care and assist with service coordination.

Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a

Two+ years’ experience in social work

State of Florida Child Welfare cert
