Job summary

NYAP Ohio Foster Care in Warren, OH seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead the foster care clinical program and supervise assigned staff, ensuring sound clinical practices and safe, community-based living for youth.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work or related field and LISW/LPCC credentials, plus experience in individual and family therapy. Strong leadership and tech skills are essential; evenings/on-call availability is required. Generous benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution; required.
• LISW or LPCC; required.
• Experience in providing individual and family therapy.
• Experience working in direct service with youth and families.
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Good computer and technology skills.
• Flexible availability including evenings, on-call rotations; required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Foster Care Social Workers.
• Screen referrals upon admission and assign cases with timely documentation.
• Develop and implement training plans for treatment and service team members.
• Provide direct supervision and clinical consultation to the treatment team.
• Provide consultation and advocacy on behalf of clients with schools and community providers.
• Offer supervisory support to staff for after-hours emergencies and crises.
• May carry a caseload based on program needs.
• Provide weekly group and/or individual supervision.
• Review new clients with staff to identify immediate treatment needs.
• Review and cosign Individual Service/Treatment Plans and Diagnostics.
