LSSI in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced supervisor for a treatment foster care program. You will oversee clinical and administrative aspects, ensuring fidelity to the TFCO model while guiding a team of clinicians and foster parents.

Requirements include a Master’s in social work, LCSW or equivalent, CWEL or ability to obtain, and TFCO training or willingness. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field
• LCSW credential or equivalent required
• CWEL license or ability to obtain
• TFCO training or willingness to participate
• Background check clearance (criminal & CANTS)
• Demonstrated clear communication (written & verbal)
• Experience leading teams in implementing treatment models
• Knowledge of DSM-V (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Valid IL driver’s license and reliable transportation
• IL liability insurance coverage required

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative oversight for a treatment foster care model.
• Implement an evidence-based treatment model with fidelity.
• Supervise counseling and therapeutic services for children, youth, and families.
• Apply social learning theory, developmental psychology, and trauma-informed care.
• Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for staff.
• Supervise TFCO team recruitment, preparation, licensure, and support of foster parents.
• Complete and submit required reports, documentation, and billing accurately and timely.
• Participate in supervisory processes and staffing discussions.
• Schedule and supervise on-call and crisis intervention for the TFC Team.
• Demonstrate professional, respectful behavior toward clients and colleagues.
