Job summary

LCFS seeks a Clinical Supervisor in Springfield, IL, to lead a clinical team serving children and families in need. This role emphasizes supervision, trauma-informed care, program development, and adherence to Medicaid documentation standards.

Master’s Degree in Social Work and LPHA licensure (LCSW/LCPC) are required, with prior experience in child welfare and trauma-informed services. The position includes leadership responsibilities and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work preferred; LPHA licensure (LCSW/LCPC) required and eligible to provide Medicaid services.
• Experience in child welfare with youth and families who have experienced trauma is preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid documentation and billing is helpful.
• Certifications in Family Therapy, Substance Abuse, EAP or related fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor clinical interventions and review counselor documentation.
• Coach, hire, train, and supervise staff; maintain trauma-informed service delivery.
• Provide weekly clinical supervision and coordinate staff training; oversee student internships.
• Maintain quality improvement processes and monitor KPIs and performance.
• Review client records for accuracy; ensure paperwork compliance and timely approvals.
• Oversee electronic health records usage, data integrity, and contract compliance.
• Lead crisis response coordination and ensure collaboration with care systems.
• Develop and enhance treatment programs with clinical teams; ensure evidence-based practices.
