Baptist Children's Homes of NC, Inc. is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to support foster families and children in care.

The role focuses on teamwork, adherence to agency policies, and coordination with families, custodians, and community resources to implement plans. Responsibilities include supervisory preparation, documenting case activities, and facilitating conferences and trainings to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field from an accredited University or Accredited Seminary.
• Two years of experience with population served.
• Valid drivers’ license and able to operate an agency vehicle to transport children.
• Capable of managing, planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining agency programs; adhere to accreditation and NC licensing
• Meets general employment qualifications per the institution's policies.
• Respects cultural diversity of children and builds a positive relationship.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and participates in regular supervisory conferences.
• Participates in 90-day and annual staff performance evaluations.
• Keeps supervisor informed on current status of total work responsibilities.
• Functions within the guidelines of the job description and Program of Intentionalized Services.
• Represents the agency’s philosophy, purpose, and programs to groups and referral agencies in a professional manner.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to work as a member of the foster home team.
• Respects the right of the team to be involved with the child and family.
• Provides leadership in creating and maintaining therapeutic milieu.
• Recruit and license foster families; provide training as required.
• Maintains client case files and documentation.
