Job summary

The Villages of Indiana invites applications for a Case Manager - Intensive Foster Care to support children and families in our community. This role coordinates assessments, develops treatment and family support plans, and collaborates with the DCS and foster parents.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, LBSW if BSW, 5 years of supervised casework (2 in a child placing agency), and 1 year of graduate social work training which may substitute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college is required.
• If BSW, then LBSW licensure is required.
• Five years of supervised, paid casework experience, with two years in an approved child placing agency.
• One year of graduate training in social work may substitute for five years of paid casework experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake and implement assessments to develop the Treatment Plan and Family Support Plan.
• Coordinate services with all team members to determine needed supports.
• Be the main contact with the DCS FCM and attend CFTM meetings as needed.
• Work closely with foster parents to provide support, coordinate trainings and support groups, assist with respite and extracurricular activities, and aid in behavior management and skill building.

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college

LBSW licensure when BSW is held

Five years of supervised, paid casework experience (two years in an approved child placing agency)

Graduate training in social work (1 year) may substitute for five years of experience
