Job summary

The Villages of Indiana is seeking a Case Manager for Intensive Foster Care to lead intake, assessments, and treatment planning. You will coordinate services with the care team and serve as the main liaison with the DCS FCM, attending CFTM meetings as needed.

You will work closely with foster families to provide support, trainings, respite options, and activity coordination, while guiding behavior management and skill-building for both families and children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
• If BSW, then LBSW is needed.
• Five (5) years of supervised, paid casework experience.
• One (1) year of graduate training in a recognized school of social work may substitute for the required five years of supervised, paid case work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the foster parents to provide support, coordinate trainings and support groups, assist with finding respite and extra-curricular activities for the children, assist with behavior management, and provide skill building assistance for the foster parents and children

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s from an accredited four-year college.
• If BSW, then LBSW is needed.
• Five (5) years of supervised, paid casework experience. Two (2) years of which should have been in an approved child placing agency.
• One (1) year of graduate training in a recognized school of social work, including supervised case work in the field, may be substituted for the required five (5) years of supervised, paid case work experience Case work and LCPA experience.
