Job summary

Oakland Family Services is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to support children in foster care and their families. You will work to ensure protection, stabilization, and successful reunification plans while collaborating with the MDHHS and community partners.

Responsibilities include intake support, case planning, crisis intervention, and coordinating referrals, with a focus on equity, inclusion, and family-centered practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Demonstrated flexibility to meet program needs.
• Sensitivity to diversity, equity and inclusion in work with families.

Responsibilities

• Provide foster care case management services to children and families to protect and stabilize and support reunification goals.
• Maintain caseload and document progress toward service plan objectives.
• Coordinate referrals, transportation, and collaboration with MDHHS and other agencies.
