Job summary

Bethany Christian Services in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to support foster families and children in care. You will train, equip, and connect foster parents with community resources to meet each child’s needs.

You will attend court hearings when required, maintain records, coordinate treatment plans, and collaborate with attorneys, therapists, and other providers to ensure safe, loving, and compliant care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• At least one year of prior case management experience in child and family services.
• Hold or be willing to obtain state certifications as required by the program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to children in foster care.
• Attend and testify at court hearings, as necessary.
• Maintain current and accurate client records, case files, and notes.
• Coordinate and facilitate treatment plans with all providers and families.
• Meet with foster parents monthly to ensure appropriate care for foster children.
• Investigate child abuse and neglect per program guidelines.
