Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia in Savannah, GA is seeking a Community Case Coordinator to deliver case management and placement services for families and children in foster care.

Starting pay is $20 with increases based on experience. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field, with a Master’s preferred, plus at least two years in child welfare. Valid driver’s license and a clean background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in child welfare, foster care or in-home crisis interventions.
• Experience providing clinical and/or case management services to children and families.
• Must possess excellent therapeutic, written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver's License and Background Check results required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to complete a paid orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct placement services and case management to assigned caseload.
• Manage foster parents and children and develop individualized service plans.
• Active home visits and coordination of transportation as needed.
• Connect families to referrals, services and resources.
• Maintain heavy documentation and reporting; crisis management as needed; ensure policy compliance.
