Job summary

Devereux is seeking a Community Case Coordinator for our Foster Care program in Marietta, GA. Starting pay is $20/hour, with increases based on experience.

You will advocate for families and children, deliver case management, and collaborate with a team to improve outcomes for children in care. The role requires a Bachelor’s in psychology or a related field (Masters preferred) and a minimum of two years in child welfare or related crisis interventions; SHINES experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a human services related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Experience: minimum of two (2) years in child welfare, foster care or in-home crisis interventions.
• Experience providing clinical and/or case management services to children and families.
• Excellent therapeutic, written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
• SHINES system experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct placement services, supervision and case management to assigned caseload.
• Manage foster parents and children, develop and implement individualized service plans.
• Perform active visitation to homes and various settings; coordinate transportation as needed.
• Connect families to referrals, services and resources; document and report activities.
• Handle crisis management and ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
