Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia is seeking a Human Services Professional to support residents with educational, medical, emotional and social needs in a nonprofit setting.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team, advance your career through ASCEND, and participate in ongoing training and development while contributing to high-quality, compassionate care for youth and families in the Georgia program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in psychology, social work or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum two years experience in behavioral healthcare; internships may count.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of mental health, funding and related services in Georgia and other states served.
• General knowledge of standard office computer applications and ability to learn new programs.
• Valid Driver's License; must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' educational, medical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Monitor resident needs and arrange appropriate services.
• Case work services per service plans; monitor educational/vocational needs.
• Plan, provide, arrange, coordinate, and document resident services for families.
• Model life skills and provide activities with feedback.
• Full case management and community support; coordinate care with internal/external contacts.
• Coordinate discharge planning with family, regulatory agencies, and case workers.
• On-call duties as scheduled.
