Job summary

Impruve is a boutique forward-deployed engineering firm helping wealth-management firms realize real business results from AI. You’ll be embedded with client teams to shape production data pipelines, AI tools, and compliance infrastructure that move billions in assets.

You’ll own the client relationship, translate ambiguous needs into concrete requirements, prototype solutions with Claude, and guide engineers to build the right system while balancing multiple engagements against timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a hybrid product/technical role with stakeholder focus.
• Technical fluency: read code, understand architecture, and assess build-vs-buy tradeoffs.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and managing scope in candid terms.
• AI-native mindset; experience prototyping with Claude or similar tools.
• Bias for outcomes: measure impact on client results.
• Scrappy and curious; willingness to learn the domain.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship, embedding with client teams and aligning expectations.
• Turn fuzzy goals into shipped systems by specifying requirements engineers can build against.
• Prototype before commitment to validate solutions with client ops teams.
• Speak both languages: translate client asks into engineering decisions and vice versa.
• Juggle multiple engagements without dropping any.
