Job summary

Cursor seeks a Forward Deployed Strategist to own strategic customer engagements from workshop to delivery. You will sit with executive sponsors, surface high-value use cases, and convert them into tightly scoped projects with clear ROI.

You’ll stay hands-on at the configuration layer, including workflows and integrations, while partnering with the FDE for deeper production builds. You will translate technical builds into business outcomes, maintain executive trust, and ensure engagements remain

Qualifications

• Must combine technical credibility in agentic coding and LLMs with executive presence to earn trust in the boardroom.

Responsibilities

• Scope FDE projects with customer executive sponsors and translate business problems into time-boxed deliverables with ROI.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews, surfacing integration complexity and constraints.
• Collaborate with FDE on the technical build, owning the configuration layer (workflows, settings, integrations, tooling).
• Drive adoption with hands-on training, playbooks, and reference workflows until customers are self-sufficient.
• Escalate product gaps and integration friction with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions.
• Build reusable playbooks to enhance capabilities across the FDE organization.
• Manage executive relationships as the primary point of contact from kickoff to handoff.
