Zip is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to lead engineering on high-impact customer projects. You will own scope, sequencing, and delivery for critical deals, shipping features that move strategic opportunities forward while maintaining a high standard of quality.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate needs into tech specs, shape the platform roadmap, and deliver enterprise-grade solutions for the world’s most influential enterprises.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or similar field.
• Shipped production systems and written code across the stack (Python backend, React/TypeScript frontend).
• Strong product instincts and judgment in scoping and prioritization.
• Customer empathy with crisp communication translating needs into tech specs.
• Ability to move quickly on customer-driven timelines while maintaining quality.
• High ownership to diagnose, build, and ship with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
