Job summary

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. As a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed, you’ll solve the hardest problems standing between Ramp and the world’s largest customers — delivering end-to-end solutions and shaping product capabilities that unlock growth upmarket.

You’ll join the Core FDE org, work directly with customers, and build agents that autonomously expand Ramp's capabilities while collaborating

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience preferred.
• Extensive experience building with and for agents.
• Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
• Willingness to be customer-facing and collaborate with teams.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software end to end for Ramp's largest customers, understanding pain points and building agents that autonomously implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management to close deals, activate customers, and expand Ramp's value.
• Drive the core product engineering roadmap within the embedding model, developing deep domain expertise and deciding when to build a custom solution versus a broader initiative.
