Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed, to solve the hardest problems between Ramp and the world’s largest, most complex companies — shaping and shipping the product capabilities that unlock our growth upmarket. You'll be part of our Core FDE org, which is an agent-first, high-pace, customer-facing engineering team.

On FDE, you will interact directly with customers and deliver solutions end to end — understanding pain points, shaping product decisions, and building agents that

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience.
Extensive experience building with and for agents.
Track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
Comfortable being customer-facing.
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow.

Responsibilities

End-to-end software delivery for Ramp’s largest customers, understanding user pain points and implementing solutions.
Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management to close deals, activate customers, and expand Ramp’s value.
Drive the core product engineering roadmap through the embedding model and develop deep domain expertise to decide when to build a custom solution vs. broader initiatives.
