Job summary

Mecka is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to partner with our most important customers at the frontier of robotics data delivery. This role blends deep technical credibility with broad delivery ownership, sitting with a customer’s engineering team and guiding end-to-end data projects.

You will own the delivery process from scoping to production, build durable improvements, and collaborate with engineering, data, and operations to unblock progress.

Qualifications

• Technical depth credible with a sophisticated customer's engineering team.
• Direct, hands-on experience owning a customer or partner relationship end-to-end.
• High agency and a strong generalist bent across data, delivery, and problem scope.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical point of contact for a set of customers.
• Understand customer goals, determine required data or delivery, and own how we build and ship it.
• Hold a strong customer support and SLA bar—respond fast, communicate clearly, close the loop.
• Own the full delivery process end to end, and identify slow, fragile, or manual steps.
• Turn learnings into durable improvements—tools, processes, standards.
• Work with engineering, data, and operations to unblock delivery and elevate upstream changes.
• Bring outside-in judgment to product and delivery systems under real customer conditions.
