Mecka AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to work at the frontier with premier customers. You will be trusted with complex customer engineering teams, owning data delivery from start to finish with high autonomy.

The role emphasizes ownership, delivery quality, and the ability to operate across data, delivery processes, and related problems, joining engineering, data, and operations to accelerate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to earn credibility directly within a customer engineering team.
• Direct, end-to-end ownership of a customer or partner relationship.
• High agency and a strong generalist bent across data and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical point of contact for a set of customers and earn credibility with their engineering teams.
• Understand customer goals and own how we build and ship data delivery.
• Maintain a strong SLA and close the loop on every delivery.
• Own the full delivery process end-to-end and identify bottlenecks and fragility.
• Turn learnings into durable improvements in tooling, processes, and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and operations to unblock delivery upstream.
• Provide outside-in judgment to improve product and delivery systems.
