Job summary

Middesk is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, product, and real customer problems. You’ll design, ship, and iterate on mission-critical integrations and AI-driven systems in production.

You’ll partner with customers and internal teams to own deployments end-to-end, shape architecture, and establish best practices for scalable, reliable systems in the real world.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering customer-facing software at scale.
• Experience building and deploying integrations with external systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed architectures and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own Technical Direction for Deployments
• Lead architecture and technical design for complex, customer-facing systems and integrations.
• Design, build, and deploy production-grade integrations using Middesk APIs, data pipelines, and AI workflows.
• Own deployments end-to-end: architecture, implementation, rollout, monitoring, and iteration.
• Establish patterns and standards for other engineers and work with customers to understand their architecture and constraints.
