Job summary

Mecka AI in New York is hiring a Software Developer to own end-to-end internal products and tooling that turn the ego-data pipeline into reliable dataset deliveries for frontline AI labs. This 0→1 role focuses on the UI you ship and the data plumbing that powers fast, accurate data delivery, with exposure to frontend (TypeScript/React) and backend stacks (Python/Node/Go).

You’ll work closely with Delivery Operations to craft useful tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building software as a full-stack or product engineer.
• Fluent in a modern front-end stack (TypeScript/React) and at least one backend language (Python/Node/Go).
• Demonstrated 0→1 builder who ships tools or products with minimal guidance.
• Strong product sense and a bias to ship and iterate.
• Comfortable working with data—querying databases and validating datasets (SQL/MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal products for dataset review, QA interfaces, and delivery dashboards.
• Turn ad-hoc scripts into usable tools that speed up delivery, labeling, and QA.
• Own 0→1 product building from fuzzy problem to shipped v1 with real users.
• Build data pipelines and APIs to package, validate, index, and serve large ego datasets.
